Litte Man

Little man is growing so stinking fast! The past couple of weeks he hast started talking even more than the absurd amount that he already did. He come by it naturally:) He is saying lots of words even though many people cannot understand. die is bye, ah di is thank you or all done, mamen is amen, leelee is Keighley. la is liz, gosh is Josh, ey is key (his new fav), nah nah is Jenna, peese is please, otsi is outside, nino is noni (my mom), liley rylie, ello is hello pretty much anything you say he will try. Some of the words he does say correctly are bubbles, ball, daddy, mommy, bite, addy (our dog), mimi, hi, where's daddy?, where'd it go? and tons more (sorry if that was overload trying to keep track for myself more than anything:)

I am thinking about cutting his hair (I have done it once already, but for some reason it is way harder this time). He has some really cute curls and it is hard to think of them being gone.

pros- He won't be so hot, my family will be happy, don't have to wash as much (that doesn't really count because I hardly wash it as it is), He will look more like a boy than a girl. That is about it.

Con- It is so cute!!! It fits our personalities to have a wild headed kid, he is going to look older (wahhhh).

Anyways if you would like to voice your opinion that would be great. Though since I birthed him I will be making the final decision:) Karis and I took a little photo shoot just in case I decide to cut it this week. Not as curly as normal.

Learning to walk down the stairs alone.

WHO is this little boy? When did that happen?

This is Judah leaning on the tree that my placenta is under.
Yes, I am serious. Yes, it is gross. and No, it was not my idea.
I think maybe we should have picked a bigger tree than a Japanese maple.

He loves his thumb. Maybe he is still my little baby.

No words.

This is the speed at which he goes, all the time.

We have gotten our money's worth out of these as you can tell.

Judah can be very serious, so I love when I capture this.

"Can't life just be like this all the time?" me
"how long do I have to be still?" Judah

A little behind.

My life has been a bit crazy of late, but hopefully soon I will have time to sit down and do some blogs I have wanted to do. involving some new house stuff, baby shower, trips, and of course Judah. Until then enjoy this really late and really long Easter blog. Peace out.

Carson says...

As most of you know the past month or so I have had the joy of watching sweet little Carson Bean. Dave was home this week and after asking her a few questions came to the realization that she, in the cutest tiniest voice, says "yeah" to pretty much anything. Dave, thinking this was hilarious, began to ask her a lot of random questions. Here are some of the things we learned.

1. She likes playing at our house
2. Judah is crazy
3. Her parents are trying to kill Dave
4. Judah is silly
5. Dave is the most good looking man she has ever seen
6. Her parents are trying to kill me
7. Judah is the cutest boy she has ever seen
8. She likes banana's, cantaloupe, watermelon, BBQ, and whatever else she was eating that day

and I am sure that there was more just can't remember. Reminder: Dave came up with the questions. I am thinking that if I keep blogging about these things Katie is going to stop bringing her:) I hope not because she is darn cute. and no her parents are not really trying to kill us. or so I think:)

Mothers

I just want to say to all the wonderful mothers out there...
(and to all the woman who are not mothers,
but who help the mothers mother)
Thanks for all the hard-work you put in.
Having Judah has made me realize that it is HARD-WORK.
Maybe it is because Judah is crazy,
but I think in general it can just be hard.
but it is also fun, great, and there is nothing I would rather do!
You ladies are BEAUTIFUL!

Specifically to my mom
Thanks for teaching me how to be a mom
for loving me unconditionally
for showing me God's grace
for doing lots of fun and crafty things with me
and for all the other 8 million things you do for me.
(This is the short version. she is getting the long version just for herself)

Top 10 reasons I love being a mom
1. Having someone love you just because you feed them (besides Dave)
2. seeing a little baby grow and change into a boy
3. hearing all the words they are learning (even the word "ball")
4. seeing a child shaped by things you teach them
5. Watching Dave love on him
6. seeing me and Dave smooshed into one
7. cuddles (ok, cuddling only happens when he is sick)
8. Watching him discover things
9. seeing that tiny thumb in his mouth and his big blue eyes
10. Having someone I can smother with kisses anytime (at least until he is stronger than me)

Some of my most favorite moms waiting for me to become a mom!
