Date Night.

As you know if you know us at all Dave and I love being parents. For the majority of the time we have a lot of fun being with Judah, teaching him, playing with him, and loving him BUT there are moments were he make us feel like this
Confused, exhausted, etc...
Then there are times he makes us feel like this
Kinda like our puppies leg just got cut off.
Then there are times he makes us feel like this

Angry, mad, frustrated.
Or like this

At our wits end.
but sometime it just makes us feel like

pirates
or like Matthew Jones.
But like I said the majority of the time it makes us feel like

Really happy Asian people.

PS we had lots of fun on one of our few dates since Judah. After making crazy faces we went and ate at Leons, played Bocce Ball, and ended with upset stomachs and talking to Ricky the homeless man for about an hour.

Pumpkins, Sweaters and an owl hat.

Get ready these pictures are going to make you long for fall. and I mean REAL fall. Where leaves change colors and FALL, you wear sweaters and drink apple cidar. Not the partial fall that we have been having this year!

This is Judah in his adorable winter hat that you will all be seeing A LOT. I spent too much money on it, but I could not resist (Mom also pitched in, because she too could not resist)!

I was going to take him to a pumpkin patch, which got reduced to Stone Mountain, which got reduced to our front yard with 3 pumpkins. I don't think he noticed.

Sweater of the year. you will see this a lot too.

How big is Judah? He is so big! I am so excited that he is finally old enough to teach tricks!

Notice the little bit of chin fat he has. That has taken a lot of hard work and feeding to get.

This is the best one we could get. Judah was over it. It was too hot for sweaters, we were faking.

Looks like he is about to be dropped but still very cute.
Well fall we are not so patiently awaiting your arrival.

My beautiful mother

I am going to take a moment to brag on my wonderful mother. She is an amazing woman in many ways. She can cook, decorate, sew, create, raise 10 kids and help raise 7 grandkids, she is a Godly woman, an honest woman, a wise woman, and a beautiful woman.
Happy Early Birthday to my amazing mom!
Love you!

Fun with the ladies

Jenna being the amazingly talented person she is won some kind of flower award. Not sure what it was exactly, but she got to do her own little flower show thing. She invited Keighley and I to go and be her models. Little did we know that we would be working are asses off all weekend! We still had loads of fun being silly and spending time together. If you know our family at all then you know that Keighley and I must really be maturing to be able to spend the entire weekend together and not have one fight! Ok maybe one, but we were still talking by the end of it so that is a good sign. So we got to hang out, be silly, make flowers in a FREEZING room, and laugh a lot. There was only one wound by the end of it. Jenna sliced her hand open when she slipped and fell on her butt (unfortunately no one was there to see it). Should have gotten stitches, but being the stubborn and tuff girl she is, did not. But now she has a scar to remind her of the great time we had and the fabulous sisters she has. We have not forgotten, you definitely owe us!

Did I mention it was a bridal show?

Sweet baby Ashlyn

My good friend Brenna (the one I had the shower for) had her sweet little baby girl, Ashlyn Rilyn Ann (not sure on the spelling). She is a very brave woman. She has 3 year old twin boys (Lannon and Kayden), a 1 year old boy (Nolan), and now a little princess. She is great mom and an awesome friend!

Gatlinburg

Mimi and Papa were very sweet and took the family on a trip to Gatlinburg this past summer. We got to stay in a beautiful cabin, play games, shop, go to a water park, play in a creek, eat good food, see wildlife, and spend time together. Dave and Sally (my wonderful sister-in-law) actually saw a bear and 4 cubs! They were super excited. Of course I was taking a shower or something lame like that. It is probably better. I would have been freaked out anyways! It was a really great time for us all to be able to bond as a family. Thanks Mimi and Papa!

Davey Crockett

Look at Judah's face. Priceless!

Grandad Homers

I try to make it out to G-dads at least once a year, but this year I was lucky enough to go twice. He is an awesome man and I love spending time with him. He is super funny and always has lots of great stories. He and his wife Ann always cook lots of great food. We swim and watch lots of funniest home videos. What more could you ask for? This past trip Dave was helping tile his Kitchen and dining room. It ended up being almost a two week job, but it looked fabulous! Because the kitchen was out of commission we ate out a lot which was fun too. Here are some photo's from this trip and my trip earlier this summer.

Dave hard at work with Judah watching.

We have to cage our child up.

Little man woke up with crazy hair.

Fun at the fair.

Jenna and Eryn

I got her a butterfly balloon and this is what she did with it.

Jenna braved the pink dinosaur for Eryn

Thanks Grandpa for a great time!
Because this ended up being so long I will be doing another post for my last trip.
