Chattanooga

Judah and I got to go visit two of my good friends in Chattanooga this past week. It was their first time to meet Judah and I also got to meet Juli's daughter, Naomi, for the first time. It was awesome to catch up and see all of our kids play together (Well, Judah didn't really play, unless you consider snatching toys and torching the girls playing, but it was still fun). We all worked together at LFR in 2001. It is crazy that we were teenagers when we met and now we all have kids!

I think Judah probably just snatched that from Levi. Hence the crying and the evil grin.

This Ella Kate. She was not too thrilled about getting her photo.

This is Eadie Cate. She posed for a photo.

How cute is that!

I got Juli, but somehow I missed Laura.

We did not attempt to get one of everyone, because they were all over it, but you go to Laura's blog she got some great close ups. She is an awesome photographer (Her blog is super cute and encouraging!) Lauracatemann.blogspot.com

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thankful for napping baby, and beardless husband. A warm house (at least in sections) and a cozy bed. Trees that light with out the light box and people that will fluff them. Yummy food (that I don't have to cook!!!) and non-diet days. big earings and long sweaters. Cowgirl boots and french braids. Days were you laugh until you cry and long deep talks. Different funny camera faces and all the people who take them with me. Not dog-sitting (a certain little dog who howls in our laundry room all night) and when the dogs are outside. Getting new shoes or going on a date. A healthy baby that eats, smiles and gets into everything he possibly can. A father and mother who love me very much and have taught me to love all those around me. Sisters that are super fun, crafty, and that I can talk to about ANYTHING. Brothers that make me laugh, can dance real good, and are super chill. Nieces and nephews that constantly make me laugh, gives good hugs and kisses, and sing in to micapones. Friends that listen to me talk about everything, laugh at my stupid jokes, and are there through thick and thin. An amazing husband who makes me laugh and laughs at me, is patient with our baby, helps out with everything in life, goes with the flow, and love me even when I don't deserve it. Wonderful family close by and far away. Friends that I can laugh and cry with. A baby that makes the cutest Popeye face ever and a husband that takes really good care of his family! Thankful for a God who provides all these things and more even though I am undeserving. I love you all (all 6 of you)! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Halloween

For Halloween this year Jenna threw a party at our house. It was going to just be a "little shindig", but Jenna doesn't know how to do that. Before I knew it I had ghost and skeletons hanging from my trees, luminaries all down my drive way, and tons of yummy beef stew smelling up my kitchen. She did an awesome job and we all had fun dressing up, eating and sitting by the fire. Go to her blog allthecloudsrollaway.blogspot.com to see more pictures, but here are a few.

Little love muffins!

Birthday Brunch

I am a little behind writing about this, because my mom's birthday was in October, but we had fun and I have the pictures to prove it so I am going to use them. My mom often times gets passed over on her birthday because she is the one to plan family birthday things, so I wanted to do something special for her. We had a girls brunch. I love brunch. I love the time of day, I love all the yummy breakfast food, I really just love everything about it. I had a lot of fun and hopefully she did too!I made our butter cookies as a favor and had everyone one write something nice about mom for her birthday. That is a tradition in our family that mom started (Which reminds me I still haven't given them to her!)
All the yummy food that we had. Thanks Jenna for the AMazing cinnamon rolls.

Jenna's beautiful flower arrangement that she made form all the flowers around the yard. She is crazy!

Of course the best picture was the one were I am sticking my tail out!

JayNay

I just wanted to give a shout out to my sister Jenna (actually she told me I had to, but I was going to anyway). She is super fun, creative and secretly hilarious. All six of you should totally go check out her blog. You will not regret it:-) Go on the link below or on the right of my blog there is a link.
I don't EVER annoy her as you can see!

PS I am trying to get Judah to call her JayNay because I think it is hilarious.
If you see her call her that. She loves it.

Sweet Sister

I am a little late on this but I don't think Karis reads my blog anyway. I just wanted take minute and tell y'all how great my sister Karis is. She is an extremely hard working single mother of three. She is kind, gentle, caring, beautiful, and super fun. She can make anyone feel comfortable, she is hilarious, super creative, and she has awesome style (which she gets from me:-). Anyways she is great. I like her a lot.

Happy Late Birthday! I love you!!!

LFR

Dave and I got the opportunity to go back to our very first home this past weekend. We went to the LFR reunion. There were not a whole lot of people that we knew there, but it was great to just be able to hang out with some sweet friends, relax, enjoy God's creation and reminisce. I think that when we moved there (right after we got married) I was not comfortable being alone at all and did not enjoy it nearly as much as I could have, but I am very thankful God put us there and I think it was a huge growing experience. Maybe one day we will get to try it again:-)

My good friend Lauren. She is one of my main reasons for the visit

I don't know what kind of face I was making
