Judah

Just wanted to update you on a few Judah things. Of course I think that he is the most adorable kid in the whole world, like every mother, and now he is finally starting to learn different things, mimick people and just do funny things.

Some things he has learned over the past couple months.

Words Mama (not Kace anymore! thank goodness), dada, liz, duck, lala (I know its not a word, but I am counting it), uh oh. I swear the is more, but I can't think of them

Liz taught him to say moo when you ask what a cow says. Super cute.

pointing. at anything he thinks is funny or interesting or anything he wants.

He stood up!!! I went and bought him some shoes. put them on in the store and he stood up. If I had known it was going to be that easy I would have gotten shoes a long time ago.

Shakes his head no when he doesn't want something. Specifically when I say "can I have a kiss?"
He has also started to get really opinionated about the foods that he eats, which is super annoying.

I think that is about it. I don't think he will win any awards for baby genius, but in my mind he is brilliant.

Friends

I got to see lots of friends the month of November. Two of which are some of my best buds, but are also sisters (to each other). Alicia (We have been friends since we were 13, and we did everything together) Who is now living in Utah, came home and got to see Judah for the first time since he was teeny tiny. Tammy, who lives in South Carolina (We have also been friends for quite some time, but not quite as long. We sometimes talk on the phone 3 to 4 times a day, and yes Dave does totally make fun of us for that). Tammy is pregnant with her first, and we just found out it is a boy!!! I am totally stoked, and we will definitely be forcing Judah and little man to be friends if it doesn't come naturally. Anyways Here are some photo's of our time. Take note that Tammy is 19 weeks prego and you can't even tell!

Alicia on the left, Tammy on the right

Judah is trying to pull my earings out while I am distracted by the photo taking

This is the worse picture of me ever, but I liked how Judah was looking at Tammy.
I just realized all my pictures are from chest up so you really can't tell Tammy is pregnant, but trust me she barely has a bump!

This is the hat Alicia got Judah in Wyoming

SOBFEST 2010

If any of you know me and my family you know that we love parties and we love a good cry. Dave went camping for the weekend and I decide to take the opportunity to have a girls weekend that included Sobfest. For those of you who don't know what sobfest is, it is where a bunch of girls get together, watch really sad movies, and obviously sob.

All weekend was filled with girls and fun. Thursday night Rylie came over and spent the night. We went and did a little shopping (Where Judah stood for the first time on his own! Yeah!!!), Watched the Office together, and the passed out. On Friday Jenna spent the night. We were both worn out so it took everything we had to stay up until 10:30. We watched all our favorite glee video's and other funny youtube stuff and just laughed a lot. On Saturday Liz and Jenna spent the night. We ate at Frontera and then spent the rest of the night playing games, drinking coffee, laughing, watching SNL skits, talking, and lots more laughing. We stayed up until 2:30! AMazing! Of course Judah was there all weekend, poor kid. But he got lots of attention and food from everyone.

And then came sobfest. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to only get 5 hours of sleep, but it definitely helped with the sobbing. We made quesadillas for lunch. Talked for a while. then started the movie. We started with Sommersby. Whew. it was intense. We definitely were all red nosed, snot faced, can't breathe sobbing. Except Holly. I have officially made it my goal to make that girl sob. She said she cried but I didn't see it. We finished the day with Paradise Road. There was some debate about that. Jenna wanted to watch Alex the life of a child, but we all decided we didn't want to start our week with watching a child die for two hours. I think we made the right choice, but Jenna gets dibs next time. Anyways it was tons of fun and if you need a good cry I highly recommend it!

Of course we made goodie bags that had the essentials. Sunglasses, bubble bath, nail polish, lipgloss, chocolate, and tissue. Thanks Jenna for picking out everything to go in them.
Everyone with there sad faces

Some how I didn't get one of Maggie (daon't hate me!) In my defense I am pretty sure I asked, but she was doing something else at the time. So you get a smiling picture instead.

Our goal was to do before an after pictures, but we only did before. I am still going to post them so you can see all my beautiful friends again, and honestly because I like the picture of myself.

It took us a minute to realize you have to take them at a down angle. Otherwise they are no bueno.

Props to Judah for being a trooper.
This is right before he pooped on Liz.

Thanksgiving 2

We went to my mom's on the Sunday after Thanksgiving to spend time as a fam. Everyone was there except the Colorado boys. Mom made roast and potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, and banana pudding for dessert (Karis also brought this pumpkin cheesecake thing). It was all delicious!!! Mom put together ginger bread houses for all of us to decorate. Well it was supposed to be for the kids, but of course we worked our way in and then turned it into a competition. We had tons of fun. It was loud and crazy, like it always is. It is amazing how quickly you forget that it is like that! And it begins.

Rylie

He looks super in to it

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Eryn would randomly scream
"I love candy!"
Delaney
Chaney

Josiah, thrilled as you can see. I think he was pouting because we wouldn't let him set his on fire

Entertaining themselves

and here are the finished products

In the end they did let him set his marshmellow on fire

This is a family friend Solley
Bella really got into the marshmellows

My finished house

all the houses (for some reason we didn't get a picture of chaney with her finished project, sorry chooch!)

Keighley knocked over my people. I was not happy. She was very happy.

The girls

Ha! not sure what Adams doing. Probably trying to make sure his neck doesn't look fat.
Adam trying to kiss Jenna under the mistletoe. Don't worry it was Keighley's idea.
This is how you will see Jenna during the winter.
and here are a bunch of kissing photos

She really has gotten so funny in her old age

This is usually how our kisses go

And during all this chaos this is what the boys were doing

They look much calmer, huh?
Thanks mom for putting it all together, and Thanks Karis and Mom for taking all the photo's!!!
I just realized we didn't get any photo's of mom! Sorry, next time I am taking one whether you like it or not, so be prepared!
